CORRECTION

By age 12, near complete dental and skeletal growth has occurred, and the permanent teeth are usually in position. Hence, if any dental or skeletal malocclusions are identified, it becomes a matter of correcting them. Since the palatine suture has not yet calcified at this stage, the bones are still very malleable. When the corrective treatment is complete, the periodontium and alveolar bone must be held in place for a certain period of time to ensure that they remain stable. ARCADE offers a full range of ergonomic corrective and retention appliances that your patients will appreciate.
